Applied Channel Theory Level 1: An Introduction to Channel Physiology and Palpation

  • Pacific College of Health and Science 110 William Street New York, NY, 10038 United States (map)

Dr. Wang Ju-Yi’s Applied Channel Theory provides a framework based in classical Chinese medicine theories to help practitioners better understand the physiological mechanisms that are contributing to their patients’ health concerns. This approach gives practitioners practical skills that help us decipher patient symptoms in combination with hands-on techniques that guide us towards clear diagnoses and treatments. This two day course will introduce students and practitioners to the foundations of channel physiology in the 6 levels and channel palpation techniques through interactive lectures and hands-on practice. It’s a great opportunity to learn a new diagnostic tool that you can bring back to your practice to help streamline your treatments. Your instructor for the weekend will be Nyssa Tang, one of Dr. Wang’s apprentices.
