    teaching

Nyssa was named by Dr. Wang Ju-Yi as an official teacher of Applied Channel Theory and holds post-graduate seminars in the US and Europe. This approach to acupuncture incorporates classical understandings of channel physiology, palpation and diagnostic skills that practitioners can apply in their clinics with immediate shifts in their patients’ health. Two to three day courses can be arranged as stand-alone seminars or as a series for more advanced work that includes patient rounds and in-depth demonstrations on Dr. Wang’s point locations and needling techniques.

    case consultations

Dr. Wang Ju-Yi’s Applied Channel Theory provides a framework based in classical Chinese medicine theories to help practitioners better understand the physiological mechanisms that are contributing to their patients’ health concerns. This approach gives practitioners practical skills that help us decipher patient symptoms in combination with hands on techniques that guide us towards clear diagnoses and treatments. Nyssa is available for video consultations with practitioners to discuss patient cases where we cover symptom patterns, channel palpation findings, diagnosis, point selection and treatment plan. For practitioners who are interested in furthering their understanding of Applied Channel Theory.
