Finding Balance

  • The Shirley Project Space 609 Washington Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11238 United States (map)

Colleen Ho’s ripped paper drawings evoke the rhythms found in music and nature. Using only a thumbtack, she creates precise rips on the paper surface and the tactile nature of her work draws you in close and encourages you to slow down and take it in. Her work is currently being shown at The Shirley Project Space in Brooklyn until December 8, 2024. On Novemeber 9th, Colleen will be in conversation with Nyssa Tang about the overlapping themes in her work and in Chinese medicine.
